Yankees "star" player Rodriguez seems to have lost his groove during the 2012 MLB postseason. Yankees manager Joe Girardi has consistently benched the 37-year-old ball player during the ALCS, because his recent up-at-bats have been quite horrible, to say the least. But at a time when A-Rod should have been focused on the ballgame (even if watching from the dugout) he was busying eyeing up 33-year-old Kyna Treacy in the stands.
Kyna Treacy who currently resides in New York City -according to her Facebook page- was sitting right behind the Yankees dugout with a female friend at the Yankees' game against the Detroit Tigers Saturday night. Rodriguez reportedly spotted the Australian brunette (and Yankee fan) and got her phone number, according to the New York Post.
When the women caught A-Rod’s balls, they didn’t think anything of it and passed them to another fan. That is when everyone else around them found out what had allegedly happened.
“The girls, who had already caught two balls, seemed bemused at first and tried to hand the ball to another fan, but other fans noticed the note on it and yelled at them to read it. The note asked them to write their phone numbers on the ball and throw it back”. A-Rod reportedly read the ball, put it in his pocket and smiled at the girls. The Yankees lose the game 6-4.
